As you wrote, language is not a big problem because, needless to say, you can speak English. After you spend several weeks with your friends in japan, you will be ficient with Japanese. One suggestion,try to post in hiragana.Will help you a lot.

If your going to an Agriculture school... does that mean that you have to take classes on farming and such? That would be a different prospective! I also was so naive to think that I would be going to Kobe... but no I am going to go to Amagasaki which is about... 30 or so minutes away from Kobe. Wow! That is so cool!
